I think my friend would look wonderful in a mermaid tail dress. She has good distribution of weight and her bottom half is really not that much larger than her top half. She looks wonderful in pencil skirts and flared pants. She says she doesn’t have a waist for it but as far as smoothing her middle section goes it’s nothing a body shaper won’t help.
She won’t believe me when I say it may be a good option for her and the bride book didn’t have many big brides. The few that were in there had a-line dresses. Outside of cruising dress shops is it plausible that a mermaid tail would look good? I think so.
